Mulberry Plum · Merino-Cashmere Wrap

A long rectangular wrap in deep plum — a warm, saturated purple with the depth of red wine: in daylight the burgundy comes forward and the whole colour softens. No pattern, no texture stitch: the colour and the finish are what make the piece.

The fabric is fluid, with a velvety cashmere halo raised across the whole surface. Ten per cent cashmere is a small share on paper, but it is unmistakable in the hand: it is what gives the fabric its quiet glow and its warmth without weight. It pours rather than hangs, folds easily at the neck, and holds its shape as a wrap, a scarf, or a hood.

Knitted on a hand-operated knitting machine in a small home studio in Delft — the carriage is pushed across by hand for every row, with no factory equipment involved.
