Rowan · Denim Shawl

This shawl reads like weather — deep denim blue washing through sky-blue into white, the way old indigo fades where the light hits it.

Rowan is an original design: columns of diagonal openwork lace cut across the triangle, giving the colour room to move as it drapes. Hand-knitted in Estonian Kauni wool, whose gradient shifts along the yarn on its own. Kauni is rustic and honest — slightly textured natural sheep wool, which is part of why it warms so well, and traditionally said to encourage circulation. Asymmetric, long enough to wrap or sling over one shoulder.

For winter mornings, frost on the window, and the blue that fades to white the way the sky does before snow.
