This shawl is about colour that shifts as the day does — deep teal-turquoise moving through warm grey and earthy brown, like water over a stony bed.
Lily of the Valley is an original lace design: open, leaf-like lace with small raised bobbles for the flowers — each one knitted individually by hand. Hand-knitted in Estonian Kauni wool — a rustic, honest natural sheep wool, not the softest against the skin, with a little of the character real working wool has, which is exactly why it warms so well and is traditionally said to encourage circulation.
