Rowan · Sunset Shawl

This shawl runs a full sunset — red along the top edge, down through warm orange to yellow at the point, and warmer in person than any photo holds.

Rowan is an original design: diagonal openwork lace that lets the gradient breathe and move as the shawl falls. Hand-knitted in Estonian Kauni wool, which shifts colour along the yarn by itself. Kauni is rustic and honest — slightly textured natural sheep wool, which is part of why it warms so well, and traditionally said to encourage circulation. Asymmetric and generous.

For short November days, leaves underfoot, the warmth you wear to make up for the light.
